Mobility Measures for Match Days
With the Rugby World Cup matches scheduled at Bordeaux's Matmut Atlantique Stadium on September 16 and 17, a special mobility plan is in place. Two hours prior to the match, doors will open for fans, but the traffic restrictions will start four hours before kickoff. A designated area around the stadium will be closed to regular traffic, giving priority to public transport and bicycles.

Traffic Advisory for Non-attendees
For those not attending the matches, it's strongly advised to avoid Bordeaux's northern ring road and the Aquitaine Bridge on September 16 and 17, particularly between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and then from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Parking and Car Travel for Spectators

Before the Match:
Two main routes are available for accessing the stadium parking lot:
● From the outer ring road via the Aquitaine Bridge, take exit 4a labeled « Stade Atlantique. »
● From the inner ring road via Mérignac, take exit 6 and follow signs for « Stade Atlantique. »
To effortlessly reach the public parking at Parc des Expositions, use route-finding apps and search for « Parking P5 Parc Expos. » VIP parking is also available under the name « Parking P1 VIP Stade Matmut Atlantique. »

After the Match:
Multiple mandatory routes from Parc des Expositions are available to distribute traffic across different possible exits.

Use Public Transport

Trams:
A « Stadium Pass » for €3 covers a round trip, making it an economical option.
● Line C – Quinconces (27')
● Line A – Cenon Gare/Stadium Shuttle
● Line B – Cité du Vin/Stadium Shuttle
Stadium Shuttles:
Operating every 3 to 5 minutes from ‘‘Cenon Gare’’ and ‘‘La Cité du Vin’’, the shuttles will make sure you reach the Matmut Atlantique Stadium without hassle.
